Blogrimage Day 3! Run #2

Small video (below) of my running for the day. Trying out this new technology to help save time and the like. Hope you all enjoy!

PS. Any tips about doing video blogs or running in general are greatly apprecaited!

Goals for 30 Day blogrimage:
!. Run everyday if possible!
2. Add 1-minute to the jog time at the beginning of each week (ie. 1st week = 4 min. jog cycle, 2nd week = 5 min. jog cycle, etc.)
3. At the end of the 30 days, add 1 mile to the total running distance!

(Give me feedback on these goals and wether they are too ambitious or not!)

Drawing Day #7

This was inspired by an idea to draw some of my friends and characterize a few things about them :)
So, this is a good friend of mine, Sarah Addy, representing her favorite founding father!

Enjoy!

Drawing Day 3!

So I have to admit something, I've been using some old drawing books of mine for the images that I have so far reproduced.
I decided to do this because I didn't have to worry so much on 'what' I needed to draw (which is usually half the battle) as to simply start drawing (which is the original goal).
Most of my drawings have taken roughly an hour to create, while this particular image took about an 1-1/2 hrs or so because it is a character out of my own imagination. Whilst using what I have learned from these books to help shape the basic form of the character, posture and slightly exaggerated muscle groups :)
I'm still going to use my drawing books from time to time, but I will make a concentrated effort to allow room for my imagination to take flight over the remainder of these 30 days.

Enjoy!

Drawing Day 2!

Hey guys! Here's my drawing for the day! But before that, I would like to share an email that my Dad sent me after seeing the previous post: "I am very pleased to see this, especially after the first time you tried to draw a horse and cried because your horse picture did not look like the one in the book you were looking at. You have kept on pursuing your artistic gift and look what you can do now!" Love you Dad!
